Compensation: No compensation during initial 30 day training period. Intern has opportunity to be hired and receive prevailing minimum wage after 30 days. Eligible students may also be able to receive academic credits.

About Internship: As a WWJM Public Service Intern, duties will include gathering and organizing information of a Public Service/Programming nature. Candidate will be assisting the WWJM Public Service Director with writing and production of WWJM’s daily Community Updates, recognizing and addressing local programming needs of WWJM’s Broadcast Area concerning Public Service. Candidate will also assist in maintaining the WWJM Quarterly Public Service Report for the Public File.
Preferred Experience: Candidates for this Internship should have an active interest in community affairs, good writing and oral skills, and be computer literate.
