Cooper brings the best of both worlds to the radio every weeknight: She's a seasoned radio veteran, and a psychologist who has dispensed relationship advice on Radio, in print and on TV for years. Always interesting, never sappy, Cooper brings a new dimension to nighttime radio.

Cooper Lawrence - Raised in New York, Cooper began her career on a dare. After some success in the world of voice-overs, a friend challenged her to send a radio audition tape to their favorite station, 92.7 WLIR. She did, got the job and has been on the air ever since. Listeners and PDs alike have said that her immediate likeability and her genuine and honest relationship with the microphone is her biggest draw.

Cooper quickly became a favorite of New York Radio stations, Z100, WPLJ, KTU, WBAB and Q104.3 doing news, traffic and co-hosting.

Cooper worked for several years as a traffic reporter and a regular fill-in on Z100 and host of Z100's Pajama Party where she felt the most connected to her audience, yet as a radio host she was limited as to how much she could really help her listeners. It was at Z100's jingle ball that Cooper came up with the idea of getting a PhD to host her own radio show to better serve her listeners.

When she decided to change her radio status to part-time it was to attend Fordham University for her Doctorate in psychology on a Presidential scholarship, her indelible mark in the world of radio made her the most requested fill-in disc jockey and radio news personality for Clear Channel in the entire New York area. During her "hiatus" she worked regularly on WHTZ, WKTU, WALK-FM and Q104.3.

During her first year at Fordham University, Cooper worked morning radio shifts, attended school during the day and produced The Joan Rivers' Show from 6-8PM for WOR radio. After Joan's show was canceled, Cooper began working at the WB11 Morning News as a producer, celebrity booker and on-air traffic reporter all while attending school.

As a writer Cooper has many published articles for many major publications but her heart is with CosmoGIRL! Magazine where she has several monthly columns (The Love Doctor, Make Up or Break UP and Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman). Her first book, A Guide to Guys (Sterling Publications) for CosmoGIRL! Magazine sold out on Amazon and did extraordinarily well worldwide,Cooper has two books set for release. One out in September of 2006 titled Been There, Done That, Kept The Jewelry for Polka Dot Press, and another upcoming title for Adams Media called The Fixer Upper Man set for release in 2007.

With a PhD ABD in Developmental Psychology, Cooper is on the advisory board for CosmoGIRL! Magazine and consults for actress Mariska Hargitay's Joyful Heart Foundation. Cooper also lectures for the New Mommies Luncheons in New York City and is a regular on-air contributor and expert on WPIX New York's WB11 Morning News.
